Siddharthnagar / The third day of the Third Sopan Investigation Camp, organized under the aegis of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Uttar Pradesh Territorial Headquarters, Metropolitan Lucknow, at Composite School Gourdih, located in Khuniyaon area of the district, was full of enthusiasm and learning.
This camp is being organized under the guidance of Assistant Regional Organization Commissioner Scout Basti Mandal Basti Rakesh Kumar Saini and Assistant Regional Organization Commissioner Guide Basti Mandal Sushma Yadav. As per the orders of District Basic Education Officer Shailesh Kumar, it is being done under the efficient management of District Scout Master Mahesh Kumar and District Guide Captain Archana Verma. The activities of the camp are being conducted successfully under the guidance of Block Education Officer Khuniyav Mahendra Kumar.
On the third day of the camp, the participating Scout-Guides were given practical and theoretical training on various important subjects. Information about pioneering and symbolic talks was given by Amit Kumar Shukla. Training related to first aid and efficiency medal was given by Rajit Kumar.
Estimating and map information was shared by Kuldeep Kumar. Outdoor activities and fire prevention measures were explained by Hemant Gupta. Cooking training was provided by Dr. Iftekharunnisa. After the training, a written examination of the participants was also conducted, so that their knowledge could be assessed.
The school family including Scout Master Kuldeep Kumar, Hemant Kumar Gupta, Principal Lal Bahadur, who helped in making the camp successful, had a commendable contribution. This camp is proving to be an important initiative in the direction of developing discipline, self-reliance and leadership abilities among the students.
