Rajasthan News: Tragic accident in Dausa, female teacher dies after being hit by Vande Bharat train

Rajasthan News: A tragic accident took place at Bandikui railway station in Dausa district on Saturday evening, in which a government lady teacher died after being hit by a Vande Bharat train. It is being told that the woman was crossing the railway track while talking on the phone, when a speeding train hit her.

The accident happened at around 6:30 pm on platform number one. According to eyewitnesses, after deboarding the Pooja Express train from Jaipur, Rekha Jangid was crossing the tracks while talking on the phone. Meanwhile, Vande Bharat train going from Delhi to Jaipur arrived and this tragic accident took place.

Major accident happened due to conversation

According to GRP, initial investigation has revealed that due to phone conversation, her attention did not go towards the train, due to which she could not move off the track in time and became victim of the accident.

The woman was returning home due to Sunday holiday

Deceased Rekha Jangid was working as a grade three teacher in a government school in Kishangarh, Ajmer. She was a resident of Devatwal Colony, Bandikui. She is survived by her husband Yogesh Jangid, a son and a daughter. She was returning home due to Sunday holiday.

A 10-second video of the accident has also surfaced, in which she is seen getting hit by a train while crossing the track. The collision was so strong that he died on the spot.
