He said that its story is related to the time after 1947, when India had become independent, but Goa was still under the control of the Portuguese.

According to Yash, the real story of the film starts from here. This period will be shown in a very stylish and different way in the film. He clarified that even though the backdrop is inspired by real historical events, the story of the film is completely fictional. This is why it has been called ‘Fairytale for Grown-ups’.

The release date of the film has been fixed for June 4, 2026. Although, earlier this film was scheduled to release in March, but its date was postponed to avoid clash with Dhurandhar 2 at the box office.
