Alert issued for stormy rain within 24 hours in these 13 states of the country! Know the weather condition.

New Delhi. While on one hand extreme heat is being witnessed in North-West India, on the other hand heavy rains are wreaking havoc in North-East India. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has now issued an alert of rain in 13 states of the country. During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 50 to 70 kilometers per hour.

According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh of Northeast India till April 26. During this period, there is a possibility of storm with thunder and lightning. Whereas in Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura, the rainy season will continue till 26th April. Sporadic hailstorm may also occur. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds along with thunderstorms may also occur in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha.

Rain alert in Punjab-Delhi also
Scattered to light rain has been predicted in Himachal Pradesh from 25th to 28th April and in Uttarakhand on 25th and 26th April. Whereas Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi are likely to receive scattered to moderate rain from April 25 to 28. During this period, winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

Heat wave warning in these states
There is a possibility of severe heat wave in the plains of North-West, Central and Eastern India in the next 4-5 days. Temperatures may reach 40 to 45 degrees Celsius in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Heat wave is likely to remain intense in many areas between April 24 and 26.

How will the weather be in Delhi tomorrow?
The temperature in the capital Delhi has crossed 40 degrees Celsius. The temperature will remain mainly clear for the next two days. The surface wind speed will be 15 to 25 degrees Celsius during the day. IMD has issued an alert of heat wave in Delhi from April 24. During this period the temperature can cross 42 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain partly cloudy from April 25. Light to moderate rain may occur till April 28.

How will the weather be in UP?
Scorching sunlight and heat wave are being seen in most parts of Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, severe heat wave havoc can be seen in the West from 22 to 26 April. The temperature in the state could go up to 40 to 45 degrees Celsius. At the same time, hot winds can also blow in Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Agra and Meerut. During this period, avoid going out in the afternoon.

Bihar weather
The Meteorological Department has predicted heat wave in most of the districts of Bihar from 22 to 23 April. However, after this the storm, rain and lightning will continue for two-three days. During this period, winds can blow at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. Due to the storm, the effect of heat in Bihar may be reduced to some extent. The temperature in the capital Patna can reach 41 degrees Celsius.

How will the weather be in Uttarakhand tomorrow?
The weather is once again taking a turn in Uttarakhand. The temperature is continuously increasing in the plains. Whereas the weather still remains pleasant in the hilly areas. Meanwhile, the journey to Kedarnath Dham has started from Wednesday. On Thursday, the maximum temperature of Kedarnath can be 16 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature can be up to 1 degree Celsius.
IMD has issued an alert of thunderstorm and rain in the state from 25 to 26 April. During this period, winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour. There is a possibility of rain in Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Haldwani, Rudraprayag also.
