Being with Rahul Gandhi… Amit Shah’s strong attack on Congress-TMC

Knews Desk-Political rhetoric has reached its peak amid the West Bengal Assembly elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing a public meeting in Dum Dum North Assembly, launched a scathing attack on Congress and Trinamool Congress (TMC). In his speech, he made many serious allegations against the opposition parties and further heated the election atmosphere.

Amit Shah hit back at the recent statement of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and said that earlier Kharge did not use such language, but after coming together with Rahul Gandhi, his language has changed. Shah said, “The effect of being with Rahul Gandhi is that the Congress President is now using objectionable words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He further said that the opposition is continuously trying to defame the Prime Minister by attacking him, but it will not have any impact on the public. According to Shah, the more the opposition makes statements against the Prime Minister, the more public support the Bharatiya Janata Party will get. In his address, Amit Shah also claimed that this time there is going to be a big political change in West Bengal. He said that after the elections, the end of Mamata Banerjee’s government is certain and a new political system will be seen in the state. Shah also claimed that if the BJP government is formed in the state, the Chief Minister will be a local person from Bengal.

At the public meeting, he appealed to the workers and the public not to get “misled” by TMC and vote thoughtfully. Shah said that this election is not just about the change of power, but it is an election that will decide the future of the state. Amit Shah also raised the issue of national security and terrorism in his speech. He said that during the earlier governments, leniency was shown towards terrorists, but now the situation has changed. Referring to “Operation Sindoor”, he said that the present government takes a tough stance against terrorism and any attack is responded to in its own language.

He claimed that now terrorists are retaliated by entering their homes and there is no compromise on the security of the country. Shah called it part of the government’s strong policy. Apart from this, Amit Shah also targeted the opposition regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill. He alleged that the implementation of the bill was delayed due to opposition from TMC and Congress, which hindered women from getting political representation.

At the end of his speech, Shah also mentioned the election dates and counting of votes. He said that counting of votes will start from 8 am on May 4 and the results will be revealed gradually. Shah claimed that the results would be clear by afternoon and Mamata Banerjee’s departure would be finalised. He also said that the purpose of this election is not only to elect MLAs, but also to make an “infiltrator-free Bengal”. Shah appealed to the public to vote keeping the future of the state in mind.

Meanwhile, Amit Shah gave another big political statement saying that if the BJP government is formed, no construction related to the disputed structure will be allowed. His statement has further intensified the political debate. This rally of Dum Dum has further heated up the Bengal election atmosphere. On one hand, BJP is continuously attacking the opposition, while on the other hand, TMC and Congress are also preparing to answer these allegations. This political conflict is likely to intensify in the coming days, making the electoral battle more interesting.
