Raghav Chadda got a big shock, lost 10 lakh followers as soon as he joined BJP, read full update.

New Delhi. Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has created a big stir in Delhi politics. He not only left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the BJP, but also took six other Rajya Sabha MPs with him. Some time ago, after being removed from the post of Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha, the rift between AAP and Raghav Chadha had come to the fore, after which speculations about his joining BJP had intensified. But now the way he has changed sides, the youth of the country do not seem to like it very much.

In the era of social media, the number of followers is considered the measure of someone’s popularity. There was a significant increase in his followers after raising issues related to the general public and the middle class in Rajya Sabha, but after joining BJP, the data is shocking. Raghav Chadha lost almost 10 lakh (1 million) followers on Instagram within just 24 hours of joining BJP. Till Friday, his number of followers was 1.46 crore, which fell to 1.35 crore by Saturday afternoon.

NCP (SP) spokesperson Anish Gawande tweeted, Raghav Chaddha’s followers have reduced by 10 lakh in 24 hours due to the ‘unfollow’ campaign of Generation Z going viral on Instagram. He further said, Internet can make you a hero overnight. The Internet can also bring you to zero overnight.

The biggest reason for Raghav Chadha’s popularity was his unconventional politics. He had created a special place among the youth by raising soft issues like traffic, data limit of telecom companies and expensive samosas at the airport in Parliament. He even worked as a ‘Blinkit’ delivery partner for a day to understand the problems of gig workers, following which the central government directed to remove the mandatory delivery time limit of 10 minutes.
