Ramdas Athawale party will demand 25 seats in UP elections, otherwise it will fight alone!
Republican Party of India (Athawale) Uttar Pradesh unit president Pawan Kumar Gupta issued an official press note on Saturday. In this, the party’s strategy and organization expansion for Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027 was announced.
According to the press note, Ramdas Athawale has said that his party is preparing a strong organization at the block level in Uttar Pradesh, so that it can strongly raise the voice of the public in the upcoming assembly elections of 2027. Ramdas Athawale said that it is an important constituent party in the NDA government at the Centre. In Uttar Pradesh also, it will contest elections on 25 seats as an ally of BJP. If this demand is not met then the party will contest the assembly elections alone.
Athawale also said that RPI is the voice of the extremely Dalit, extremely backward, oppressed and deprived sections of Uttar Pradesh. Some parties have developed themselves by taking the votes of this section and have given nothing to this section.
He demanded from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that Samaj Bhawan should be constructed in Dalit dominated villages by the Social Welfare Department and the responsibility of its operation should be given to the people of this community.
At the same time, Ramdas Athawale held Congress and Samajwadi Party responsible for the non-passage of the Women’s Reservation and Delimitation Bill. According to the press note, he said that both these parties are anti-women and are working to hinder the development of women by opposing the bill.
