He further said that the current situation in India is becoming similar. According to Wadettiwar, there is huge dissatisfaction among the people due to unemployment, inflation and government policies, which can take explosive form at any time. He indicated that if public sentiments are not understood, an atmosphere of instability can be created in the country. Dettiwar did not stop here, targeting the central government on the pretext of Trump, he said that when dialogue in politics ends and only dictatorship prevails, then the patience of the people begins to wear off. He alleged that democratic institutions are being weakened, due to which the common man is feeling insecure. According to him, the attack on Trump is a global warning which should not be ignored even in the context of India. BJP’s counterattack: ‘He is giving such statements out of frustration of defeat’ BJP has expressed strong objection to this statement of Wadettiwar. BJP spokespersons say that this statement of the Congress leader is not only irresponsible, but it also incites violence. BJP leaders tauntedly said that Congress has become so frustrated with its continuous election defeats that it is now comparing India with countries where the circumstances are completely different. He has demanded an apology from Wadettiwar for this statement. This statement of Vijay Wadettiwar has increased the temperature in the politics of Maharashtra and the country before the upcoming elections.
