He told that UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is going to make about one lakh new recruitments this year. In the last three days, examination was conducted for 41 thousand recruitment in UP Home Guard. The recruitment process of Civil Police, SI, Home Guard etc. has increased rapidly.

Appointment letters distributed to 936 selected candidates in UP Police Telecommunication Department

The Chief Minister distributed appointment letters at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan to 936 Principal Operators/Principal Operators (Mechanical) selected in Uttar Pradesh Police Telecommunication Department. A short film based on Police Telecommunication Department was also shown in the programme.

Recruitment of successful candidates is being done fairly and honestly.

The ego or personal desire of any person, caste, creed or religion cannot be greater than that of the nation.

He said that the fairness with which the police recruitment process was conducted was not possible nine years ago. Earlier the process itself was not completed successfully. There used to be discrimination in transactions and appointments, but now no one has to give recommendations or money in the entire process. A fair recruitment process is conducted only by following the rules of merit, ability and reservation. Such an environment has been created in the state that if there is capacity then no one can stop us from moving forward. Now you also have to work with pure intentions. Uttar Pradesh, which was once a sick state, is now contributing to the development of India due to collective efforts.

Recruitment of more than 2.20 lakh personnel in UP Police in nine years

CM Yogi said that last Sunday, a convocation parade of 60 thousand police constables took place at 112 centers of the state, that is, together 60 thousand constables became a part of the Uttar Pradesh Police Force, who will now do duty in the field. In nine years, recruitment of more than 2.20 lakh personnel has been completed in Uttar Pradesh Police whereas in many states of the country the total police strength is not even this much. He told the newly selected candidates that you have got the opportunity to be a part of the country’s largest civil police and serve the population of 25 crores through the telecom branch.

The Chief Minister said that nine years ago there was a crisis as to where the training would take place, but now there is no shortage of space from this point of view. Before 2017, only three thousand police personnel could be trained at one time, but in 2025, 60,244 police constables were trained simultaneously in the centers of UP. Through this, UP Police showed that results can be achieved if the intentions are clear, the policy is clear and there is a strong will to work. After the passing out parade, the constables are leaving for duty in the districts. Now your training will start at these training centres.

More than 500 skilled players now part of UP Police force

CM Yogi said that UP is the first state which has made more than 500 skilled players a part of the UP Police force. The result of this is that whenever there is a sports meet at national and international level, UP Police gets more medals. Its number of medals in the country and the world is more than that of other states. Through this the force also displays its capability.

Significant increase in police infrastructure facilities also

He said that police infrastructure facilities have been increased. In 2017, there were no police lines in 10 districts. Many police stations did not have their own buildings. There was lack of normal police facilities, barracks etc. Today, there are barracks and residential facilities for police personnel in high-rise buildings in 55 districts. Model police stations and new fire stations are being established. SSF, SDRF, three new women PAC battalions have been formed. Three new laws will come into effect in July 2024, but UP had already made preparations. State Forensic Institute of UP is functioning successfully. 12 FSL units of A grade are functioning. Six are under construction. Two mobile forensic labs are working in every district. Skilled technicians have been deployed to collect samples.

UP Police is also indirectly contributing to India’s economic growth.

CM Yogi said that the police is now not only making the state a mafia-riot free state along with maintaining law and order, but is also indirectly contributing to the economic growth of India. The rule of law is the first guarantee of development. With the rule of law established, investors from across the country and the world are coming to UP. Now we can establish modern infrastructure in any area of ​​the state.

CM Yogi told the newly selected 936 candidates in the Telecom Police Force that now it will help in further strengthening the communication unit. Your training for the next eight months will be important. CM gave the mantra to the youth and police personnel to remain fit and said that if they remain physically fit, they will also be mentally fit and only then they will be able to serve the country and society honestly.
