More Recruitment In UP Police: One lakh more policemen will be recruited in UP, big announcement by CM Yogi Adityanath
Lucknow. One lakh more recruitments will be done in UP Police this year. UP CM Yogi Adityanath made this announcement after distributing appointment letters to the operators of Police Telecommunication Department on Tuesday. CM Yogi gave appointment letters to 936 operators for the Police Telecommunication Department. He said that 2.20 lakh policemen have been recruited in UP in the last 9 years.
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is going to make about one lakh new recruitments this year.

CM Yogi said that recently 60244 constables were recruited in UP Police. Besides, in the last three days, examination has also been conducted for more than 41000 posts of Home Guard. CM Yogi said that UP is the first state where more than 500 skilled players have been given jobs in the police. CM Yogi said that UP Police Recruitment Board will start the process of recruitment of policemen this year. Let us tell you that after assuming power in UP, CM Yogi has started the recruitment of policemen on a large scale. Due to this, police are now visible in every nook and corner of the state. Even in the smallest incident, the police reaches immediately.

After assuming the post of CM in UP, Yogi Adityanath has also recruited a large number of women policemen. Whereas, till the year 2016, there were only about 10,000 women policemen in UP. By giving 33 percent reservation for the recruitment of women in police, half of the population has also got an opportunity to help in maintaining the law and order of UP. Apart from this, CM Yogi also purchased new weapons and vehicles for UP Police. Due to which it has become easier for the policemen to patrol and deal with the miscreants. By October 2025, UP Police had killed more than 256 criminals and injured 10,000 in encounters. Apart from this, more than 31000 criminals have been arrested by UP Police in the last 9 years.
