Mahindra & Mahindra Company continues its growth with strong sales in April 2026. Domestic SUV sales reached 56,331 units, a year-on-year growth of 8 percent. Total auto sales (including exports) stood at 94,627 units, registering a growth of 14 percent.

In the SUV segment, Mahindra’s cars are getting good response from customers. Utility vehicles (including exports) sales reached 57,833 units, while domestic commercial vehicle sales stood at 23,427 units. According to the company, the financial year has started on a positive note with the SUV segment being the mainstay of growth.

The company has also performed strongly in the field of agriculture. Tractor sales recorded a sharp growth with 46,404 tractors sold domestically in April 2026, up 20 percent over the previous year. Total tractor sales (including exports) stood at 48,411 units with exports reaching 2,007 units. Interestingly, this growth was achieved despite Chaitra Navratri not being held in April this year.

Apart from this, in the Trucks and Buses (above 3.5 tonnes) segment, the company also recorded an 11 percent growth, selling 3,011 units. However, the company noted that the commercial vehicle industry has been affected to some extent due to the change in financial year, inflationary pressure and global geopolitical situation. Overall, Mahindra recorded good growth in the month of April due to strong demand in both the SUV and tractor segments and the momentum is expected to continue in the future as well.
