Big step of UP government: Youth will get loan up to Rs 10 lakh without guarantee
Lucknow. Yogi government is preparing to take another big step towards making the youth self-reliant in Uttar Pradesh. After the successful implementation of the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Abhiyan Yojana, it is now being considered to give it a more comprehensive form, so that startups and small businesses in the state can get a new impetus.
Preparation for expansion of the scheme
According to the proposal prepared at the government level, many major changes can be made in this scheme. The most important change is that the maximum loan amount for youth can be increased to Rs 10 lakh, whereas earlier this limit was Rs 5 lakh. Along with this, the amount of loan available in the second phase of the scheme is also expected to be increased to Rs 15 lakh, so that successful entrepreneurs can further expand their business.
Expectation of relief in age limit also
To make the scheme accessible to more youth, a change in the age limit is also proposed. At present, the benefit of this scheme is available to the youth of 21 to 40 years, but under the new proposal, there is a preparation to make the minimum age 18 years, while the maximum limit will be kept at 40 years only. With this change, college passouts and entry level youth will also be able to directly join this scheme.
Loan facility without guarantee and interest free
The biggest feature of this scheme is that in this, interest free loan is provided to the youth without any bank guarantee. Till now thousands of youth have taken advantage of this facility and started their small business. The loan repayment period has been fixed at four years, after which successful entrepreneurs also get additional financial assistance for further expansion.
