Women’s T20 World Cup 2026: Indian women’s team announced… T20 World Cup 2026 campaign begins under the captaincy of Harmanpreet
New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 15-member Indian squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, starting from June 12, 2026 in England and Wales.
Harmanpreet Kaur has been given the command of the team, while Smriti Mandhana will be the vice-captain. The team will start its campaign against Pakistan on June 14 in Birmingham.
Tournament Format
This will be the 10th edition of the World Cup, in which 12 teams are divided into two groups. A total of 33 matches will be played and the final match will be held on July 5.
Group A: India, Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Netherlands
Group B: England, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland
