YJHD actor Evelyn Sharma divorces husband after 5 years of marriage; deletes photos with him, to co-parent two kids

Remember actor Evelyn Sharma, popularly known for her role in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone? The actor who stays abroad and was happily married for over five years has announced her separation from husband Tushaan Bhindi.

The couple, who share two children, have decided to part ways but will continue to co-parent.

Confirming the news, Evelyn shared a statement, requesting privacy and emphasising that the separation is amicable.

Speaking to HT City, she said, “Yes, we have decided to go our separate ways romantically but are very focused on raising our children together. We would appreciate privacy and assure that this is as amicable as it can be. We are building this new chapter on a lifelong friendship and co-parenting.”

Evelyn made her Bollywood debut with From Sydney with Love in 2012 and went on to appear in films like Yaariyan, Main Tera Hero, Issaq and Saaho. She remains best remembered for her role in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Who is Tushaan Bhindi?

Tushaan Bhindi, an Australia-based dental surgeon and entrepreneur, had proposed to Evelyn in 2019. She had shared the moment on social media with a photo of the two on a yacht against the Sydney skyline, captioned “Yes!”.

The actor has now deleted pictures with her husband on Instagram.
