Many Killed In Delhi Fire Incident: Fire created havoc in a four-storey building in Vivek Vihar, Delhi, 9 people died.


New Delhi. A massive fire broke out in a building in Delhi’s Vivek Vihar in the early hours of Sunday. The fire broke out in the upper part of the four-storey building and spread rapidly. Several upper floors of the building were engulfed in massive fire. 9 people lost their lives due to this. After the commotion, the fire brigade and police reached the spot and 10 people surrounded by fire were rescued. Firefighters brought the fire under control with great difficulty. DCP Rajendra Prasad Meena of Delhi’s Shahdara area told the media that all the bodies were found from the second floor of the building. The fire created more havoc on this floor.

According to the police, preliminary investigation has revealed that the second, third and fourth floors of the building were hit by the fire. Many people were trapped on these floors. Whom they were successful in saving. Two of the people trapped in the fire have suffered minor injuries. He was sent to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Delhi for treatment. How severe the fire in the building was, can be seen from the fact that 12 fire tenders along with DDMA staff had to be sent to the spot. Officials have not yet said what caused the fire in the building. It is not possible to identify many of those killed in the fire. For this reason, DNA test will be resorted to.
