What is online census and why is it important?
The 2027 census has now become digital, meaning you no longer need to stand in queues. Its first phase has started in Delhi, where you can fill the online form sitting at home from May 1 to May 15. This saves time and also reduces the chances of making a mistake. Simple thing – pick up the mobile and get the work done.
How to login to the portal?
First of all go to the official website and select your state “Delhi”. Then login by entering CAPTCHA. You can also do it from mobile, but if you have a laptop then it will be a little easier. Here you will get the option of 16 languages – choose the language of your choice and proceed.
What information needs to be given in registration?
Now comes the real work. You have to enter the name of the head of the household and provide a mobile number. Keep in mind—these numbers cannot be changed later. OTP will come, enter it and verify. Then fill the correct information of your location i.e. district and area.
Why is it important to mark location on the map?
Brother, this step is very important. You have to mark the exact location of your house on the map so that when government employees come, they do not have any problem in finding your house. After this there will be about 33 questions – like whether there is electricity in the house or not, whether there is water facility or not, etc. Give correct answers comfortably.
What happens after submitting the form?
When you have filled the entire form, check it carefully – there are no mistakes. Then press the “Submit” button. After this you will get an 11 digit SE ID. Keep it safe. After May 16, when the officials come to your house, all you have to do is show this ID—the work will be done quickly.
Remember:
Only one house will be registered with one mobile number
Incomplete form will be considered useless
Last date is May 15th—don’t delay
