Rekha Gupta Decision On labourer: CM Rekha Gupta is issuing instructions to the officials to take continuous measures to prevent the scorching heat and heat wave in Delhi. Amidst the scorching heat in the capital, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has given great relief to the workers. CM Rekha Gupta has announced that workers will get 3 hours leave in the afternoon. As per the instructions of the government, all the workers will be given rest from 1 pm to 4 pm. Arrangements for drinking water have been made for the passengers in DTC buses.
While sharing a video on X Post, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta wrote – Heat wave (loo) affects all people. However, the biggest problem is faced by those laborers and workers who work in strong sunlight. As per the instructions of the government, it is necessary to give rest to all the workers from 1 pm to 4 pm, whether they are working in private or government work.
It was told through a post that arrangements for drinking water have been made for the passengers in DTC buses. Jal Sevaks are being deployed at bus shelters, who will provide water and ORS to the people. All necessary medicines and treatment related to heat wave have been arranged in hospitals. Cooling areas are being created in hospitals.
Apart from this, arrangements for water and ORS have already been made for the children in schools also. Volunteers are distributing caps and cotton mufflers at different places, so that people can protect themselves from the heat. Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta had directed DTC officials to deploy Jaldoots at 23 major bus terminals to provide free drinking water to passengers and employees.
