Kumar Vishwas’ first reaction on BJP’s bumper lead in Bengal, said

Tezzbuzz Desk – Early trends of West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026 have started showing a major upheaval in the politics of the state. All India Trinamool Congress, which has been in power for a long time, is facing a tough challenge this time, while Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be crossing the majority mark.

According to the preliminary data of the Election Commission, till 12 noon, BJP was leading on about 170 seats, while All India Trinamool Congress was leading on about 91 seats. Whereas other parties seem to be getting only a few seats. These trends have further strengthened the possibility of change of power in West Bengal politics.

Meanwhile, a social media post of poet and speaker Kumar Vishwas is also going viral. Addressing Bengal, he shared emotional lines in Bengali language.

Chirodin tomar sky,
Tomar Batash,
Bashi instead of immortal life.”

Through these lines Kumar Vishwas expressed his love for Bengal. This post of his on social media is gaining a lot of discussion amid the election atmosphere.

The seats where BJP is maintaining a strong lead include seats like Mekhliganj, Mathabhanga, Cooch Behar South, Sitalkuchi, Dinhata, Natabari, Tufanganj, Kumargram, Kalchini, Falakata and Madarihat. BJP’s performance in these areas is being considered a major political success for the party.

BJP has also taken lead in Singur seat which was most discussed during the election campaign. This is the same seat where the issue of Tata Nano factory was the center of political debate for a long time. According to early trends, BJP candidate Arup Kumar Das is leading over his rival Becharam Manna by about 3,000 votes.

Arup Kumar Das has so far received 15,516 votes, while Trinamool Congress’s Becharam Manna has received 12,651 votes. This rise of Singur is considered very important politically.
