From Supreme Court to fields, those 7 big decisions of Modi cabinet which surprised everyone
In the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many historic decisions have been approved to take the country’s economic growth to new heights. The government has approved huge funds for everything from agriculture to railways, chip manufacturing and small scale industries (MSME). These decisions will have a direct impact on the employment of crores of farmers and youth of the country.
Cotton Revolution Mission: There will be a big change in farming
Government for the country’s cotton producers ‘Cotton Revolution Mission’ Has brought. A budget of ₹5,659 crore has been approved for this mission. It will be implemented from the year 2026-27 to 2030-31. India is currently the second largest cotton producing country in the world and about 32 lakh farmers are involved in this farming. The government aims to increase production through new technology and better fiber research so much that the country’s domestic demand of 450 lakh bales can be easily met by 2030-31.
Big relief to sugarcane farmers and MSME sector
The cabinet has also given good news for sugarcane farmers. The FRP (Fair and Remunerative Price) of sugarcane has been fixed for the season 2026-27, the total financial impact of which will be around ₹1 lakh crore. Additionally, to support small and medium industries ECLGS 5 The scheme has been expanded. ₹ 18,100 crore will be spent on this, so that the MSME sector can get cheap and easy loans and they can grow their business strongly.
Investment worth thousands of crores on railway and shipping infrastructure
A mega project to modernize the country’s infrastructure at a cost of ₹1,570 crore in Vadinar, Gujarat ‘Ship Repair Hub’ Will be made. Three big projects in the railway sector have also got the green signal:
- Nagadamathura Line: Investment of ₹16,403 crore.
- Guntakalwadi Line: Investment of ₹4,758 crore.
- Burhwal-Sitapur Line: Investment of ₹2,276 crore. Third and fourth lines will be laid on these routes, which will reduce delays in trains and increase the speed of goods trains.
Strengthening chip sector and justice system
To make India a global technology hub, two new units in the semiconductor sector have been approved. Crystal Matrix Limited (₹3,068 crore) and List Semicon Pvt. Ltd. With the help of (₹868 crore), India will move towards self-reliance in chip manufacturing. Apart from this, important decisions have been taken at the policy level to make the functioning of the Supreme Court more effective. It is clear from these all-round decisions of the government that India is ready to take a big leap in the fields of agriculture, industry and technology in the coming times.
