Mumbai: Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has penned a heartfelt note mourning the death of a fan he considered part of his extended family, describing the loss as deeply personal and difficult to express in words.
The actor remembered Shalini Singh from Prayagraj, whom he referred to as an “EF” (Extended Family), a term he often uses for his close-knit fan community.

“Deeply saddened by the news of the passing of our dearly loved Ef Shalini Singh, from Allahabad (PrayagRaj),” he wrote.

“I pray, we all pray for the departed soul, and for it the calm and peace it has always deserved, in grief.”
