According to sources, Iran will respond to this proposal within 48 hours. In this situation, Reuters and US newspaper Axios claim, Iran may agree to the US proposal. Because this is the first time that the possibility of agreement between the two sides has been seen. According to the new proposal, the US will lift the sanctions on Iran, as well as free up large amounts of frozen funds. All restrictions on traffic in the Strait of Hormuz will be lifted. Iran’s nuclear activities will be suspended for a certain period. However, there is room for disagreement as to how long this period is.

Despite sending peace proposals, US President Donald Trump remains in a bellicose mood. He made it clear that if Iran rejects this offer, they will face serious consequences.
