Free Hormuz, revoke the ban! Will Iran respond to America’s ‘tempting’ proposal to stop the war?

It has been almost three months since the Iran-US war. The war did not stop even after one mediation, peace meeting. This time Iran has been offered a ceasefire by America. Tehran may respond to that proposal on Thursday. According to sources, America has presented a one-page memorandum to stop the war. Reuters claims that Iran can respond to that proposal.

The war has started again in the Middle East. Iran has launched a drone attack targeting UAE oil depots. In this situation, America has sent a new peace proposal to Iran. However, the peace proposal between Iran and America is not being discussed directly. Here Pakistan is playing the role of mediator. The latest proposal also reached Iran through Islamabad. It is known that 14 conditions have been mentioned by America. Pakistan’s views have also been taken in framing these terms.

According to sources, Iran will respond to this proposal within 48 hours. In this situation, Reuters and US newspaper Axios claim, Iran may agree to the US proposal. Because this is the first time that the possibility of agreement between the two sides has been seen. According to the new proposal, the US will lift the sanctions on Iran, as well as free up large amounts of frozen funds. All restrictions on traffic in the Strait of Hormuz will be lifted. Iran’s nuclear activities will be suspended for a certain period. However, there is room for disagreement as to how long this period is.

Despite sending peace proposals, US President Donald Trump remains in a bellicose mood. He made it clear that if Iran rejects this offer, they will face serious consequences. Trump has also threatened to kill clear bombs. But according to analysts, Trump is not directly involved in this peace process. Negotiations are ongoing through other envoys. Iran, however, is not directly negotiating with America. The whole world is watching to see how Iran will respond through mediators.
