Indian cricket Yuzvendra Chahal has sparked chaos after a video of him onboard flight went viral in which he is speculated to be smoking vape.
The cricketer was travelling with his Punjab Kings squad as the Indian Premier League (IPL) is currently ongoing.
In the viral video, the cricketer can be seen trying to inhale from an object which he tries to hide with his hands.
Later, he can also be seen exhaling smoke while sitting next to cricketer Shashank Singh.
Many believe that while the object is not visible, it is a vape or e-cigarette.
The video has sparked security concerns online.
One use wrote on X “How did he pass security? Are there different rules for cricketers?”
It is important to note that vapes are banned in India under the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act, 2019.
Recently, another Indian cricketer Riyan Parag was caught vaping in the dressing room during an IPL match. He was later fined 25% of his match fee along with being given one Demerit Point for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct.
