Amit Shah Recalls Struggles Of BJP Workers In Bengal: Amit Shah reminded the stories of the struggles of BJP workers in Bengal, said – infiltration and cow smuggling are now impossible.
New Delhi. BJP government is going to be formed for the first time in Bengal. Union Home Minister Amit Shah greeted Bengal BJP workers and the public with folded hands while announcing the name of Shubhendu Adhikari for the post of CM. Along with this, he described the BJP’s journey in Bengal so far as unprecedented and reminded the struggles of hundreds of BJP workers. When I became BJP president in 2014, Samik Bhattacharya opened the account of BJP in Bengal by winning the by-election. In 2016 we had 3 seats. In 2021 we had 77 seats and in 2026 we have 207 seats and today our Chief Minister is going to sit. As grand and enjoyable as this journey is, the path of that journey is full of unbearable pain. I cannot forget that 321 godlike workers of BJP have lost their lives for this victory, for this idea. Apart from Kerala and Bengal, I have not seen such a naked orgy of brutal violence.

Amit Shah said that we have a government in Tripura, Assam and now our (BJP) government has been formed in Bengal too, infiltration and cow smuggling is going to be impossible. With determination, the Government of Bengal and the Central Government will convert the borders of Bengal into an impregnable fortress of national security. For five decades, the culture and traditions of Bengal have been influenced by foreign ideologies, and it is now our responsibility to free them and revive the legacy of Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda. From today our responsibility has increased even more. Only through hard work done with humility and dutifulness can we express our gratitude to the public for this mandate. Today, this victory of Bengal has come after a long ideological journey of almost a hundred years.

The Home Minister said, when Article 370 was removed from Kashmir, there was an atmosphere of happiness in the entire country, but some senior workers had said that something was still incomplete. When I asked him what was missing, he said that the BJP flag is not yet firmly established in Bengal. Today I am sure that wherever Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is, he will be blessing Narendra Modi that his leadership took BJP from Gangotri to Ganga Sagar.
