India conducted MIRV missile test, China stunned, Pakistan shocked!

New Delhi. India has successfully tested the advanced Agni missile equipped with MIRV technology, further strengthening its strategic capability. With this achievement, India has joined the ranks of those select countries which have the capability to hit multiple targets with a single missile. This is being considered a big achievement for India in the defense sector.

What is MIRV technology?

MIRV i.e. Multiple Independently Targeted Re-Entry Vehicle is such a modern technology, through which a single ballistic missile can attack many different targets. In this technology, the missile takes off carrying multiple payloads with itself and releases them in different directions at fixed times. This makes it extremely difficult for the enemy to activate the missile defense system.

Testing in the Indian Ocean Region

According to the information, multiple payloads were used in this test and their targets were set at different places in the Indian Ocean region. Ground- and sea-based tracking stations were used to monitor missile flight and payload movements. During the test, telemetry and tracking systems monitored every phase of the missile from launch to target engagement.

India’s increased strategic strength

After this successful test, India’s strategic power has got a big boost. Experts believe that this capability will make India’s security system more effective and help in meeting future challenges. Missiles equipped with MIRV technology can hit multiple targets at long ranges, making India’s defense preparedness stronger.

Big achievement of DRDO and Army

This missile system has been developed by various laboratories of DRDO in collaboration with industries across the country. During the test, senior DRDO scientists along with Indian Army officers were also present. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the scientists, army and industry on the successful test. He said that this achievement will give new strength to the country’s defense preparedness and will further strengthen India’s position in the changing global security environment.
