Aditi Rao Hydari: ‘Face like a cat and personality like a golden retriever’, Aditi Rao Hydari makes interesting revelations about the comments:

Known for her simplicity and regal beauty, actress Aditi Rao Hydari is currently enjoying the success of her film “Heeramandi.” But away from the glamour of the screen, there’s a side to Aditi that revolves around her pets and her partner Siddharth. In a recent interview, Aditi opened up about her personal life, the comments she receives about her facial features, and her special relationship with Siddharth.

Cat-like face and childhood memories

Aditi jokingly shared that she’s often called a “cat-like face” because of her facial features. Sharing an anecdote from her childhood, she said, “When I was little, we had a cat named Sufi. People often said we looked like sisters because our eyes and facial features were so similar.” Aditi believes this is perhaps why she has a deep and natural connection with cats.

In Siddharth’s eyes, Aditi is a ‘golden retriever’

Interestingly, while the world calls her “cat-like,” her husband and actor Siddharth has a different opinion. Aditi laughingly revealed that Siddharth compares her to a “Golden Retriever.” Explaining the reason behind this, she said that she has a very friendly nature and loves to be around people, which is a common trait of Golden Retriever dogs.

Iggy and Ollie

Aditi also talked about her two Persian cats, Iggy and Ollie. She explained that they practically rule the house. Aditi and Siddharth consider themselves merely “treat dispensers.” She said that whenever she goes out for work, her cats show her “attitude” upon returning and act as if they are angry with her.

Life lessons learned from animals

Aditi also appeared quite emotional during the interview. She said that pets are very sensitive to our energy. She has learned to live with dignity and self-respect from cats. Aditi believes that to gain the love of animals, you have to let go of your ego and only then can you form a true relationship with them.
