Electric GTI: Volkswagen has unveiled the new Volkswagen ID Polo GTI, ushering its iconic GTI lineup into the electric era. Launched on the occasion of 50 years of Golf GTI, this new electric hot hatchback comes with stunning design, strong performance and advanced features. The special thing is that the company introduced its GTI version just a few weeks after the launch of the standard electric model.

Sporty design and premium look
The exterior of the new ID Polo GTI looks more aggressive and sporty than the regular model. It has a newly designed bumper, GTI signature red accent line and matrix LED headlights. The car’s 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels, illuminated VW logo, connected LED taillights and sporty split spoiler give it a premium appeal.

GTI feel will be available in the cabin
Black and red theme has been used in the interior of the car. Sport seats, red stitching and GTI badging make it special. It has a 10.25-inch digital driver display and 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Also features like wireless charging, dual-zone climate control and optional Harman Kardon audio system are also available.

Powerful battery and performance
The Volkswagen ID Polo GTI has a 52kWh battery pack and a front-wheel drive electric motor. This setup generates 226hp power and 229Nm torque. The car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 6.8 seconds and its top speed is 175km/h. Once fully charged, this electric hot hatchback gives a WLTP range of up to 424 kilometers. With the help of 105kW DC fast charging support, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes.

For better control, the car has been provided with adaptive sports suspension and electronic locking front differential. The new GTI Drive Mode helps give the car a more aggressive and sporty driving experience.
