Neet Paper Leak Probe Reaches Nanded Maharashtra CBI Conducts Rapid Fire Raids
Officials said the agency conducted an intensive search and verification operation for more than eight hours at the Kadam family’s house on Saturday. This family is accused of buying the leaked NEET exam paper for their daughter by paying Rs 5 lakh.
According to reports, the CBI team reached Nanded on Friday directly after interrogating a driver associated with a coaching institute in Latur. Investigators are trying to trace the network that is believed to be involved in the paper leak conspiracy.
According to officials, the CBI team raided the flat of Ashwini Bhaurao Kadam in Vidyut Nagar area in the early hours of Saturday morning. During this lengthy operation, the officials carefully examined the documents and other things present in the house.
Investigators suspect that the family had allegedly obtained the leaked NEET paper for their daughter in exchange for Rs 5 lakh. Sources claim that while preparing for the exam in Nanded, the student was scoring only 100 to 120 marks in practice tests and assessments.
In another major development related to the case, a separate CBI team on Sunday reached an office linked to accused Shubham Khairnar in Nanded and conducted a search operation as part of the ongoing investigation.
The investigation team also visited the Khairnar family’s house in Vidyut Nagar area and interrogated several members of the family about their alleged links with the paper leak network. Officials suspect that the family might have paid a huge amount to buy the NEET exam paper.
This new search in Nanded comes amid the intensification of the nationwide investigation into the CBI NEET paper leak case. This matter had created a huge controversy when allegations came to light that many questions in the paper were sent to the candidates even before the examination.
Investigators are now probing financial transactions, links with coaching institutes and the role of middlemen who allegedly helped in paper leak in several districts and states.
