Ingredients for tempering raita
Ingredients for Raita: 2 cups fresh curd, 1 green chilli finely chopped, 1 tsp roasted cumin powder, salt as per taste, a little black salt, 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
Ingredients for tadka: 1 tsp ghee, half tsp cumin, 4-5 curry leaves, 1 dry red chilli, pinch of asafoetida.
Method to make Raita:
Step 1: First of all, beat the curd well. Now add green chilli, roasted cumin, salt, black salt and green coriander and mix.
Second Step: After this, heat ghee in a small pan and prepare tadka by adding cumin seeds, curry leaves, dry red chilli and asafoetida.
Step 3: Add this tadka to the raita and mix well. Delicious and cooling tadka raita is ready.
Fourth Step: You can serve it with paratha, pulao or dal-rice.
