Chandigarh: There will be no fare in Punjab Roadways bus for the candidates going to appear for NEET exam. Following the appeal of Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday, Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced the facility of free travel in Punjab Roadways bus for NEET candidates.
So that children from poor families do not face any problem in reaching the examination centre. Arvind Kejriwal said that on the demand of NEET candidates, I have asked CM Bhagwant Mann to make travel free in Punjab Roadways from June 20-22. All children should be courageous and work hard. Everyone’s dream of becoming a doctor will be fulfilled.
Kejriwal had appealed to CM Mann
AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that many children had written to me that they did not even have enough money to pay the fare from their home to the center on the day of the examination. The children had asked for help in this regard. I have mentioned this to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. After which the Punjab Government has waived the bus fare of Punjab Roadways for the candidates appearing for NEET exam from 20-22 June.
Arvind Kejriwal further said that children should prepare well and vigorously and keep their spirits high. Some children had written that they were feeling depressed and were not getting motivation. Children should not say such things, rather they should act with courage and work very hard. All children will be successful, will become doctors and everyone’s dreams will be fulfilled. Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, while congratulating all the children appearing for NEET exam, said that children are dreaming big and the dreams should also be big, because it is the duty of the governments to make the dreams come true. It is said that dreams are not those which come in sleep, but dreams are those which do not let one sleep.
Cracking NEET paper is a very good dream. I have come to know that many children do not even have enough money to pay the fare to reach the centre. NEET paper is on 21st June, hence on 20th, 21st and 22nd June, travel is being done absolutely free in Punjab Government roadways buses. Children just have to show their admit card.
Bhagwant Mann said that children can go to the center on 20th or 21st and return on 22nd. The fare for these three days has been made absolutely free by the Punjab Government. Children should prepare for the paper with full vigor, enthusiasm and strong intention. I pray to God that all the children be successful in reaching their destination in life and bring glory to their parents, their state and the country.
Bhagwant Singh Mann said on X that many poor children appear for NEET paper. They don’t even have the money for fare to go to the centre. Recently, when Kejriwal ji talked to the children of NEET, the children asked for help. NEET paper is on 21st June. So the Punjab Government has decided that the fare for all the children going to appear for NEET exam in all the buses of Punjab Roadways on 20th, 21st and 22nd June will be waived.
