High Level Qatar Delegation Arrives In Tehran: Efforts are underway to open the Strait of Hormuz amid ongoing tension in the Middle East. After Pakistan, Qatar has sent a special team of its mediators to Tehran. Its main objective is to find a new way for an important agreement between America and Iran. Strong opposition to Iran’s toll tax

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has clearly said that America will not allow Iran to impose toll tax on ships. Iran has created a structure called the Persian Gulf Strait Authority to collect heavy duties from ships. Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait have jointly strongly opposed this new plan of Iran.

According to American media, Washington is seriously considering new military attacks on Iran. President Donald Trump has canceled his personal events and meetings are continuing at the White House. However, America has not yet taken any final and major decision on the attack.

New role of Pakistan and China

Before Qatar, Pakistan was playing a major role in the peace talks between America and Iran. Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir is also currently present in Iran’s capital Tehran. It is believed that Pakistan is trying its best to make China its guarantor in this important deal.

At this time, Iran wants an immediate ceasefire from America and a firm guarantee of not launching any new attacks in the future. Along with this, Tehran is also demanding huge relief from the American sanctions imposed on it. At the same time, America wants Iran to first open Hormuz and then make a new agreement on its nuclear program.
