Delhi: After petrol and diesel, now the price of CNG has increased by Rs 2 per kg, know today’s rate.

New Delhi, 26 May. Amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, inflation is showing no sign of stopping. After petrol and diesel, now the prices of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) have also increased. CNG has become costlier by Rs 2 per kg in Delhi since Tuesday. Now CNG will be available in the capital at Rs 83.09 per kg instead of Rs 81.09. In the last 11 days, the price of CNG has increased by a total of Rs 6. The price of CNG has been increased by Rs 2 on 15th May, by Rs 1 on May 18, by Rs 1 on May 23 and today i.e. on May 26, the price of CNG has been increased by Rs 2 per kg. Earlier on Monday, an increase in the prices of petrol and diesel was also recorded.

The price of petrol has increased by Rs 2.61 per liter and that of diesel by Rs 2.71 per liter. This is the fourth time in the last 10 days that the prices of petrol and diesel have increased. Before the price hike, petrol was being sold at Rs 99.51 per liter and diesel at Rs 92.49 per liter in Delhi. But now petrol has reached Rs 102.12 per liter and diesel Rs 95.20 per liter in the capital. The effect of this increase in fuel prices is not limited to Delhi only, but is being seen in other cities as well.

After continuous revisions in the last few days, CNG prices in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad have increased to Rs 88.70 per kg. In Mumbai too, the price of CNG has increased to Rs 84 per kg. From petrol-diesel to CNG, the prices are increasing due to the war. India imports a large part of its needs from abroad. India’s supplies have been affected due to the almost closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Crude oil prices are also sky high. The price of crude oil has crossed $100 per barrel, which was around $70 per barrel before the war.
