Strong performance of ‘AAP’ in civic elections, Kejriwal said – along with rural people, urban people also have faith in the party.

After the spectacular victory of Aam Aadmi Party in the urban local body elections of Punjab, the stir in the politics of the state has intensified. The party has described this victory as the public’s seal of approval on the “work politics” of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann government. Meanwhile, the party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that the people of Punjab have completely rejected the “politics of ED”.

Aam Aadmi Party has performed tremendously in the Municipal Corporation and Municipal Council elections of Punjab. Earlier, the party had also got great success in Panchayat and Zilla Parishad elections. Now the results of the urban body elections have made it clear that the party’s influence is not limited only to rural areas, but people’s trust is continuously increasing in cities too.

Arvind Kejriwal said that the people of Punjab have chosen development and honest politics. He claimed that people have supported AAP by expressing confidence in the government’s work.

People were angry with the politics of pressure – Kejriwal

Kejriwal said that people were angry with the politics of continuous raids and pressure and the public responded to this in the elections. Advising businessmen to be cautious, he said that ED action may be taken again in the coming days.

Bhagwant Mann said – public approved the work

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann described this victory as the victory of the people. He said that the impact of decisions like free electricity, Aam Aadmi Clinic, better government schools and transparent recruitment process is clearly visible in the election results.

He said that the people of Punjab have accepted the politics of development and now development work will be done equally in every city, town and village.

Targeted at opposition also

Punjab AAP in-charge Manish Sisodia said that the election results have made it clear that the people of Punjab do not like the politics of hatred and fear. He claimed that a large number of BJP candidates could not even save their deposits.

Delhi State President Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the people of Punjab have stood up against injustice and given the message that pressure and agency politics will not work here.

Excitement increased before assembly elections

These results, which came a few months before the Punjab Assembly elections, have filled new enthusiasm among the Aam Aadmi Party workers. The party is now seeing these results as a big political signal for the upcoming elections. For the opposition, these results are considered a matter of concern.
