In the final battle, Rajasthan Royals batted first, GT entered with one change.
Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) are facing each other in the second qualifier match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. In this match being played in New Chandigarh, RR captain Ryan Parag has won the toss and decided to bat first. RR team has entered without any changes.
GT captain Shubman Gill said during the toss that he also wanted to bat first. Gill told that there is a change in the team. Left arm spinner Sai Kishore is playing in place of left arm fast bowler Kulwant Khejroliya.

Who will get the ticket for the final?
GT had to face a crushing defeat by 92 runs at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the first qualifier match. In that match played in Dharamshala, both bowling and batting of GT were flops. Having finished second in the league stage, they have got a second chance to make it to the finals. Gill would not like to make any mistakes today. On the other hand, RR, who defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the eliminator, is also eyeing a ticket to the title match.

Will Vaibhav Suryavanshi bat again?
RR’s explosive opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi had eliminated SRH from the match by playing an inning of 97 runs in 29 balls in the eliminator. Vaibhav is the highest run scorer in the current season. He has scored 680 runs in 15 innings. During this period his strike rate has been above 242. RR’s hopes are pinned on him.
Vaibhav will have to be wary of GT’s pace bowling pair of Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada in the powerplay. Rabada has taken 18 wickets during the powerplay in the current season, which is more than any other bowler. Whereas Siraj (14 wickets) is at fourth place in this matter.
