Patna. Industrial development is going to get new momentum in Bihar. The state government has taken a big step towards increasing investment and employment. After getting approval for 19 new industrial units related to various sectors, the way has been cleared for large-scale investment in the state. The commencement of these projects will not only expand industries but will also create new employment opportunities for thousands of people.
There will be investment of more than Rs 928 crore
There is a possibility of investment of about Rs 928 crore through the proposed new industrial projects in the state. This investment will increase production capacity, promote local trade and accelerate economic activities. It is estimated that about 2200 people will get direct and indirect employment through these projects.
Modern Makhana Processing Unit will be built in Darbhanga
Makhana industry, which is considered the identity of Mithilanchal, is also going to get new strength from this scheme. A modern Makhana processing unit will be set up in Darbhanga, where processing, packaging and value addition of Makhana will be done. This will increase the chances of local farmers getting better prices for their produce and will help in taking the Makhana industry to national and international markets.
New factories will open new employment opportunities for the youth
With the establishment of new factories in the state, local youth may have to reduce their dependence on other states for employment. Various types of jobs will be created in the production units at technical, administrative and labor level. This will increase employment opportunities and also give impetus to regional development.
