Speeding vehicles wreak havoc in Pakistan, eight people lost their lives in accidents

Islamabad: Eight people died in road accidents at different places in Pakistan’s federal capital Islamabad and Sindh province capital Karachi during the last 24 hours. Five people were injured in these accidents.

According to Dunya News report, four people died and five were seriously injured in an accident at Bhara Kahu Athal Chowk in Islamabad on Saturday. Police said a speeding car hit two cars and several motorcycles.

Due to this, four people died on the road and five people were injured. The condition of the injured is said to be serious. Police said that the accused driver fled leaving his car.

According to Sindh Police, four people were killed in four accidents in different areas within a few hours on Saturday in Karachi. The first accident occurred in Sohrab Goth. There a motorcyclist died after his bike slipped on the road.

In the second incident, a speeding car hit a motorcyclist in Baldiya Rais, killing him. The car driver absconded after the accident.

The third incident took place in Malir. Here a car crushed a teenager. The car driver absconded after the accident. One person died after being hit by a tanker at Korangi crossing. This year, 415 people have died in traffic accidents in Sindh province alone.
