The government is working on another big project to make Delhi completely free from traffic jams and pollution. Within the next one year, a new 31.425 km long greenfield expressway will be ready, which will directly connect this Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to Jewar International Airport in Noida.

After the completion of this link project, to be built at a cost of approximately ₹ 2,360 crore, vehicles coming from North India will be able to reach the airport directly via the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE). With this, the pressure of trucks and heavy vehicles on the internal roads of Delhi will almost end and people of Gurugram, Faridabad and South Delhi will also be able to catch flights directly to Jewar Airport without any traffic.
