Tata Tiago Is Now The Most Affordable Car With 360-Degree Camera
Tata Motors launched the facelifted Tiago hatchback on May 28, 2026. Both the design and packaging have improved on the new model. Democratisation has been at the centre of packaging the new Tiago. It has now become the country’s most affordable car to come equipped with a 360-degree camera.
360-degree cameras are becoming increasingly common these days. It can be very useful in daily commutes- particularly in parking and bumper-to-bumper scenarios. Mostly, bigger vehicles belonging to higher segments come equipped with it. The new Tiago has brought down the entry price point. In other words, it has democratised the feature.
The 2026 Tata Tiago comes better kitted than before. Key updates inside include a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging pad, 360-degree camera, and others.

The facelifted (petrol) Tiago is available in six trims- Smart, Pure, Pure+, Pure+ A, Creative and Creative+. Prices fall in the range of Rs 4.69 lakh- Rs 7.85 lakh, ex-showroom. 360-degree camera is offered on both Creative and Creative+ trims. These even come with dedicated blind view monitors. These project the feed from ORVM-mounted cameras onto the screen when the vehicle is trying to change lanes or direction.
The Creative trim is priced from Rs 6.99 lakh. Creative+ starts at Rs 7.29 lakh, ex-showroom. These are both top trims and are offered with manual and AMT automatic transmissions. A total of four variants are available on the petrol version. Creative trim is also available on the iCNG version. There too, the 360-degree camera is available.
The new Tiago competes with Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS, Maruti Swift and the Citroen C3. Of these, just the C3 offers the 360-degree camera, that too on the higher X trim. It is priced at Rs 7.91 lakh, ex-showroom- Rs 92,000 more than the Tiago Creative (petrol manual). The Swift and Grand i10 NIOS come with regular reverse parking cameras.

The design of the internal combustion Tiago has evolved significantly. It now gets comprehensive exterior updates like slimmer grille, sharper LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, new front and rear bumpers and connected LED tail lamps. The front fascia now has a more upright look and the car has a ground clearance of 170mm. The internal combustion version rides on 15-inch wheels. It is available in six colours including three new ones.
Inside, the new Tiago comes with a new dashboard layout and revised feature list. We have already talked about the latter. The cabin colour scheme has also been improved. The trims on all major touch-points feel better on the new car. The new model also comes with a two-spoke steering wheel, similar to what we see on newer Tata models.
The internal combustion version of the new Tiago continues with the same powertrain as before- a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 86hp and a CNG version based on the same producing 75hp. Both of these are offered with five-speed manual and five-speed AMT automatic transmissions. The AMT versions, in both petrol and CNG, come with paddle shifters. The top-spec CNG version has an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.55 lakh and comes with the AMT gearbox.
