What will be the impact on the general public and the way forward?
With the help of flex fuel technology, this motorcycle will be able to run easily on 100% petrol as well as up to 85% ethanol blended fuel (E85). The price of ethanol is much lower than petrol, which will improve the monthly budget of the middle class people who go to work every day. Currently, petrol prices are skyrocketing in Delhi and other big cities, in such a situation this technology will directly provide relief to the public pockets. The government aims to rapidly increase the availability of ethanol at major petrol pumps in the country, so that there is no practical problem in running these vehicles.
