A shocking theft case related to Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon’s family has come to light. A woman who was in the family’s trust for the last six years has been arrested by the police for allegedly stealing gold and diamond jewelery and expensive watches worth Rs 25 lakh. Tandon family and fans are also shocked by this incident.

The accused woman has been identified as Rashi Chhabria (aged 47) and has been arrested by the Juhu Police. She is Raveena Tandon’s mother Veena Tandon Caretaker So it was working. According to family members, Rashi was in touch with them since 2020. After personal difficulties, she became closer to the family and eventually gained their trust. So she was allowed to move freely in the house.

In October 2025, the family checked the safe in the house and found it open. It was noticed that gold and diamond ornaments and two expensive wrist watches were missing. After getting suspicious in this matter, the family members started an investigation. According to complainant Rajeev Tandon, Rashi Chhabria initially denied all the allegations. But during the further interrogation, the police claimed that she confessed to the theft.

According to the police, the accused has returned two stolen watches. But she said that she gave the jewelery to an acquaintance named Jagdish. She had also promised the family to get back the jewellery. However, not all the jewels have been recovered yet and the police are still searching for them.

This matter has taken another serious turn. Rajeev Tandon has alleged that an accomplice of the accused woman threatened him by claiming to be a police informer. He has alleged that he threatened to implicate him in a fake drug case if he insists on returning the jewellery.

Juhu police arrested Rashi Chhabria on May 21. After that she was produced in the court and the court remanded her to police custody. The entire case is being thoroughly investigated and efforts are on to trace the stolen jewellery. The police is also investigating whether other accomplices of the accused were involved.
