Kalindi Express will not go to Farrukhabad for 4 years, consideration is going on to change the route.

The route of Kalindi Express train will change as soon as the work of elevated line starts from Mandhana to Anwarganj in Kanpur. Railway administration is looking for an alternative route to Delhi. If the train runs through the alternative route, Kalindi Express will not come to Farrukhabad station for almost four years.

 

ADRM Manoj Kumar visited Farrukhabad Junction Railway Station on Wednesday. He told that the route of Kalindi Express train will change as soon as the work of elevated line starts from Anwarganj to Mandhana.

On Wednesday, ADRM Manoj Kumar along with other officials inspected the ongoing construction works at Farrukhabad Junction Railway Station. He instructed the executing agency to ensure quality construction. The train will not stop here for about four years. Alternative routes are under consideration.

Kalindi Express goes from Kanpur to Bhiwani

Let us tell you that Kalindi Express train runs from Kanpur Central to Bhiwani in Haryana. This train will go via Etawah and Tundla for about four years. ADRM said that EMU is being planned so that the people of Kannauj and Farrukhabad can be connected to Delhi. Consideration is also going on to run a new train via Mathura.

Traders raised the issue of not changing the route

Let us tell you that the traders of Farrukhabad are opposing the change in the route of Kalindi Express train. Indian Industry Trade Board demanded to operate the train from Farrukhabad only. Met MP Mukesh Rajput in this regard. Traders say that the construction of the elevated track is about to start. After this the route of Kalindi Express train will change. The routes of many other trains have also been changed.
