10 patients dead, over 20 rescued after massive fire at hospital in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur – Read

Patna, June 4:

At least 10 people lost their lives after a fire broke out at a hospital in the wee hours of Thursday Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, said officials. The blaze reportedly started around 3 am and spread to different sections of the hospital.

As per officials, the deceased include at least three patients, who were killed after smoke filled the intensive care unit (ICU) of hospital. Currently, a rescue operation is underway and as many as 12 fire tenders have reached the spot to douse the fire.
