Delhi government’s strict decision on illegal construction: Officials will be punished, salary, pension and property will be recovered

CM Rekha has taken a tough decision in this meeting. According to the information, now officials will also be punished for illegal construction in Delhi. If found guilty in the case, recovery will be made from the salary, pension and property of the officers. According to the information, DDMA Act 2005 will be implemented in Delhi. If found guilty, the officers will also have to go to jail.
DMA Act will be implemented, 2 years imprisonment after being found guilty
Delhi Government Minister Ashish Sood has informed that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, along with all the agencies, has taken major decisions today regarding illegal construction and violation of rules. To make all the agencies working in Delhi work together, the DM has been given the authority to take decisions of all the departments. It has been decided to implement DMA Act (Disaster Management Act) in Delhi. Under this, there is a provision of 2 years of imprisonment and jail after being found guilty.
Order for action against illegal constructions
Delhi government minister Ashish Sood said that the MCD has been directed to take action against the rapidly increasing illegal constructions and seal the buildings violating the rules. The committee that was formed after the Malviya Nagar incident was told that if the hotels and guest houses running in their area are wrong, then they should be sealed. Along with this, instructions have also been given to seal the construction of more than Ground Plus 5 in Delhi. According to the information, under the Revenue Recovery Act 1819, any loss caused to any person or government property will be recovered from the government officials. Recovery will be made from their salary, pension or property.
