Iran team will be able to play in America, got visa for FIFA World Cup

America has given visa to Iran’s team for FIFA World Cup 2026. Now Iran’s football team will be able to play its matches in America. Due to Iran’s war with Israel and America, there was doubt over the team’s participation in the World Cup, but with the approval of the visa, now FIFA’s tension has also reduced. Due to difficulties in the visa process, Iran had to move its training base from Tucson, Arizona to Tijuana, Mexico, bordering California.

Two American officials have told news agency AP that members of Iran’s World Cup football team have received US visas. This will allow them to come to America from their training base in Tijuana, Mexico, before their first two matches to be held near Los Angeles this month.

An official said that the visas of all the players of the Iran team have been approved and the process of getting them visas is going on. Another official said visas have been issued for players, coaches, trainers and some support staff. US officials did not say whether any applicants from Iran had been denied visas.
