Vaibhav Sooryavanshi: India’s T20 team announced for England-Ireland tour and Asian Games, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gets a chance

Team India’s T20I squad for England and Ireland tours: BCCI on Saturday announced Team India’s T20I squad for the tour of England and Ireland. Shreyas Iyer and Tilak Verma have been made the captain and vice-captain respectively. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Prince Yadav have also been included in the team. Apart from this, Team India’s squad for the 2026 Asian Games has been announced.

BCCI has announced Team India’s squad for the 2026 Asian Games to be held in Japan. Shreyas Iyer and Tilak Verma have been made the captain and vice-captain respectively. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has also been included in the team. Jasprit Bumrah is part of the Asian Games team. While announcing the team, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar said that if we talk about Hardik, he is currently a part of the ODI team. In Suryakumar’s case, the reasons are partly his form and partly the way we want to move forward. Shreyas definitely deserves it on the basis of his batting and leadership.

Agarkar further said that Prince Yadav’s domestic performance has been excellent. He can bowl even under pressure. Vaibhav’s performance almost made us choose him. He said that I had a conversation with Surya. I follow this procedure.

Shreyas Iyer (Captain), Tilak Verma (Vice Captain), Ravi Bishnoi, Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Mohd. Siraj, Sanju Samson (wk), Axar Patel, Harshit Rana, Ishan Kishan (wk), Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Dubey, Varun Chakraborty, Prince Yadav, Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
