Team India announced for Sri Lanka tour, Jurel-Padikkal have big responsibility, know which players got the chance

India A: India A team has to play two multi-day test series on Sri Lanka tour in July-August. For which BCCI has announced the Indian team. Dhruv Jurel has been appointed captain of the team for this two-match series. Whereas Devdutt Padikkal has been given the responsibility of vice-captain. Those players who have performed brilliantly in domestic cricket in recent times have been selected in the Indian team for the Sri Lanka tour.

These players got a chance for the first time

Apart from Dhruv Jurel and Devdutt Padikkal, Sai Sudarshan, Harsh Dubey and Gurnoor Brar have also been included in the India A team for the Sri Lanka tour. Zeeshan Ansari, Nabi, Mokhade, Rashid and Ayush Pandey are the names who have been included in the India A team for the first time.

Rituraj-Jagdishan got a chance

Apart from this, many old players have returned to the team, which includes the names of Rituraj Gaikwad and N Jagadeesan. Earlier it was believed that young star batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi would be included in the India A team but it did not happen. However, he has been given a chance in the Indian T20 team for the Ireland-England tour. Many young players who performed brilliantly in IPL 2026 have been included in the India A team for the Sri Lanka tour.
