Knews Desk- A painful incident has come to light from America’s Philadelphia city, where 28-year-old Indian youth Anshul Kuncha was shot dead. Anshul was originally from Hyderabad and was working as a part-time pizza delivery executive in Philadelphia while pursuing his studies.
According to the information, the incident happened when Anshul was returning after completing a pizza delivery. Family members say that shortly after the delivery, several rounds were fired at them. After being shot, Anshul got seriously injured and fell on the roadside. Later, the police found him in a blood-soaked condition outside an empty house.
The police immediately took him to the nearest hospital, but due to serious head injury, the doctors could not save him and declared him dead. At present the police is busy investigating the matter. It is not yet clear what was the reason behind the attack and how many people were involved in it.
This incident has caused a wave of mourning in Anshul’s family and the Indian community. The Indian Consulate General in New York has also expressed deep sorrow over the incident. The embassy has said that it is in constant touch with the victim’s family and all possible assistance is being provided.
Besides, the process of bringing Anshul’s mortal remains to India has also been started. The Indian Embassy is completing the necessary formalities in coordination with the local administration and concerned agencies. Meanwhile, the police have intensified the investigation to identify and arrest the attackers.
