‘Netanyahu has nothing in his hands…’ Trump’s tough attitude amid Israel-Iran war, said – US will deal with Tehran

US Israel Iran War Trump Statement On Peace Talks: A big statement from US President Donald Trump has come out amid the war between Iran and Israel in the Middle East. Trump has said that Israel’s attacks on Iran will not affect peace talks. Taking aim at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he even said that ‘he has nothing in his hands’. And only America will take the final decision regarding Iran.

Growing tension between Netanyahu and Trump

According to sources, Donald Trump got very angry with Netanyahu on the phone last week. Trump has strongly instructed Israel to immediately stop its attacks on Lebanon. However, Israel has clarified its stand saying that it has only responded to the ceasefire violations by Iran. Netanyahu has not yet issued any direct public statement on this matter.

Outcry in regional countries

Amidst this tension, the US Army recently targeted Iranian radar centers and drone command centers located on Goruk and Qeshm Islands. In retaliation, Iran fired missiles at Kuwait and Bahrain. According to Kuwait’s Defense Ministry, their air defense system destroyed seven ballistic missiles in the air.

However, Kuwait’s main airport was damaged in an Iranian drone attack, killing one person. After which countries like Saudi Arabia, Egypt and United Arab Emirates have strongly condemned these attacks and called them a threat to regional stability.

Terms are stuck on the negotiation table

Peace talks are currently stalled on several issues. Iran wants billions of dollars of its frozen assets to be immediately released, while Washington says any financial relief would be conditional on Iran reducing its stockpile of uranium enrichment.

Apart from this, no agreement is being reached yet on issues like relaxation of restrictions on oil exports and security of Hormuz. Recently, Pakistan Home Minister has reached Tehran with a special message from Army Chief Asim Munir regarding this. However, it has not been revealed what was in that message.
