TMC MPs Met Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav In Delhi: Mamta Banerjee is going to get another blow, TMC MPs met Bhupendra Chaudhary, letter handed over to Lok Sabha Speaker

New Delhi. Amidst the ongoing political turmoil in Mamata Banerjee’s party Trinamool Congress, another new development has come to light which has intensified the political stir. Around 20 TMC MPs visited BJP leader and Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav’s residence in Delhi and met him. During this time, Bengal CM Shubhendu Adhikari was also present there. According to media reports, after the meeting with Bhupendra Yadav, Trinamool MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar submitted a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in which, claiming to be a separate faction, he has also requested for separate seat allocation in the House.

However, at present there is no clear information regarding which TMC MPs have signatures in that letter. After the meeting at Bhupendra Yadav’s house, now everyone’s eyes are on the future strategy of TMC MPs. Even before this meeting, TMC MP Sukhendu Shekhar Ray had resigned from Rajya Sabha membership and TMC. On one hand, Mamata Banerjee was participating in the India Block meeting in Delhi, while on the other hand, many MPs of her party TMC were holding a meeting at the house of a BJP leader. Before this, Mamata has already suffered a setback in the Bengal Assembly and about 58 MLAs of her party have rebelled and supported Ritabrata Banerjee.

After the MLAs, now many TMC MPs are also preparing to shock Mamata Banerjee. On the other hand, on the news of TMC leaders meeting Bhupendra Yadav, senior TMC MP Saugata Roy said, this is a sad incident. It is against morality for those who won on the symbol of a party, who benefited because of Mamata Banerjee, to go to the house of a BJP leader and claim to have formed a separate faction.
