Issuing this warning, the Indian Embassy in Tehran said that in view of the dangerous conditions in the area, they are reiterating their old advisory in more stringent words.

“Keeping in mind the recent developments and security situation in the region, the Embassy advises all Indian citizens to completely avoid any travel to Iran,” the embassy said in its official statement. Along with this, the Embassy further added that the Indians who are currently stranded in Iran should immediately leave from there to safe places using available means of transport (flight or other routes).
