Many Indians died in minibus and truck collision. This tragic incident happened in Dubai on Monday. About nine people were injured. The police of that country have already started investigating the incident.
According to Dubai Police sources, the accident happened on Emirates Road on Monday morning. It is initially known that the truck suddenly stopped in the middle of the busy road. A minibus was speeding from behind. As the truck came to a sudden stop, the bus lost control and hit the truck hard. The minibus got twisted due to the impact of the accident. So far 7 people have died in the incident. About nine people were injured. Most of the dead were Indians. They were laborers by profession. However, the number of dead Indians has not yet been revealed. Why did the truck stop in the middle of the road? After the preliminary investigation, it is known that while moving, the truck suddenly suffered a mechanical problem. Due to this it stopped in the middle of the road. However, the police officials have assured that the incident will be investigated after looking into all aspects.
The Indian Embassy in Dubai has expressed grief over the incident. In a statement to X Handle, they wrote, ‘We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives of several Indian workers in a tragic road accident in Dubai. Condolences to the families of the victims. We stand by them.’
